Nestled in the Hawaiian fern forest of Mauna Loa Estates and situated near the edge of Kazamura Cave, Aloha Crater Lodge welcomes you.  Located less than 2 miles from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our rooms are designed with your privacy in mind. 

Aloha Crater Lodge provides an in room continental breakfast that includes  fresh fruit, a variety of hot and cold cereal, yogurt,  Hawaiian tea bread or other bread items, coffee and tea service, milk and juice. 

Homemade jams compliment other bread items offered. 

Enjoy the whirlpool, jetted tub located in the midst of the forest near to our lavatube entrance, Kazamura cave, the largest lavatube cave system in the United States. A wonderful way to start your day or soothe and relax you before going to bed.  Our 6 person tub is always ready to use day or night.  

The current      action in the park is amazing.  Besides the many trails and daily activity offered by the National Park Service we recommend you enjoy a fabulous dinner in the National Park.  As the sun goes down you can often see a red glow at the base of the plume.  Outside the National Park near Kalapana in lower Puna you can see the lava flowing into the ocean.  It's a spectacular show!
